Searching the ruins

A cab drove up to the border of New York and stopped. "Sorry, but I can't go any further. Alet stepped out of the car and looked around. He searched through his pockets but noticed he didn't have any money with him. He looked at through the window. "Thanks for taking me here, but I don't have any money." Alet shocked the car with electricity and the driver lost control. The cab drove away. He started walking into the ruins of New York. "Finally."

"Hmm..."

*Zandain watches from where he is pretty sure that he can't be seen, but decides to relocate, he sprints as fast as he can past Victor, so all that it would seem like is a blur, and a breeze, and finds a new spot, somewhere behind him.*

Alet smirked, he had seen enough of people using super speed to tell the difference between wind and someone using it. He turned around. "I know you're there Zandain." He looked around and started to snap his fingers causing sparks to fly out. He then sent a ball of fire at the directiong where the wind came from.

*A laugh echoed through the empty area of New York*

"You've always been the smart one, Alet."

*Zandain ran out from the opposite direction that he entered, and quickly approached Alet from behind, then stopped at a few feet away, and grinned*

"Well?"

Alet laughed and turned around. "Hey Zandain." He walked up to him still snapping his fingers causing sparks to fly out but this time they were bigger than before. "I think you know why I'm here right?.... The company, I want revenge." He smiled and looked at Zandain. "But I'm gonna need some help."

*Zandain looked, and laughed at the 'hero'*

"So you want me to help you? you know how I do this, Alet, how exactly will this benefit me?"

*Zandain's hands still slightly vibrating, preparing himself for a sonic boom, in case he needs it*

Alet laughed. "Should of known better." He looked around as the sparks started to get even bigger as a flame appeared on his hand. "I'm not like you Zandain, I wont fight you unless I have a reason." He looked down. "If you help me, you'll be helping yourself, you know what they're doing now a days. They need to be stopped."

*Zandain looked down in thought, his hair cascading over his eyes*

"Hmmm. You... may have a point"

*Zandain stared deeply into Alet's eyes, and let the vibration fade away*

"But don't make this a habit."

Alet smiled. "Don't count on it, we may be helping each other now, but as soon as this is over we're going back to normal." He turned around and looked at the ruins of New York. "I haven't been here since I was thirteen. How has it been goin' around here?"

*Zandain looked around at the ruins.*

"It's goin' great, the goons here don't know how to run a town, the food is shit, there's barely any water, and there are damn rabid dogs everywhere, so yeah, it fan-f*cking-tastic!"

Alet laughed at Zandain's reply. He turned around and started walking to the nearest town in the ruins of New York. "So have you seen Cage lately, I've heard he runs a group of villains around here now?" He starts looking around as they walk at all the destroyed buildings. He starts to remember what happened here four years ago.

OOC: Thats what Cage wants to do, hes gonna create his character either tonight or tomorrow

*Zandain walks slowly, looking down at the cracked street. Working alongside a hero so far seems to be much less awkward than he imagined.*

"Asuma. I've crossed paths with him. Don't really know what to think of him..."

Alet smirked. "Me and him have had our share of fight.... actually a little too many fights." He scratches his head and tilts his head a little. He sighs. "I have to go back to school tomorrow." Though Alet was on his own in life he decided to stick with school, it was in his best interest.

"School?"

*Zandain laughs*

"You stuck with that? School? You know it's just a joke, it's completely unneeded."

Alet sighs again. "Yup... school..." He turns around looking at Zandain while walking backwards. He puts his hands behind his head and laughs. "My parents would have wanted me to go. It's boring though, I'm at the top of my class." He turns back around and starts walking normally again.

*Zandain begins to say something, but then stops.*

"Did you hear that?"

*The air around Zandain's hands begins to distort.*

Patrick lost the urge to fight during the fight decides to paly a fun and joking surprise prank. |Patrick sr=theathfully comes behind the statue and screams

Alet looks around to see who or what was making the noises. He turns to look at Zandain. "What was that?"

his laughters become louder and louder with an occasional bark he felt as if he was going to pee

*Zandain, angry, fires a stunning sonic boom towards the laughing man.*

Patrick feels the vibrations in the ground and is quick to react and jumps out of the way with his jackal speed and comes full speed with his attacker blade drawn and ready to attack

patrick signals in on the the atacker and screams like a gorilla for hin to back off i was only having some fun

Alet laughs. "Sorry 'bout that, he can be hot headed sometimes." He walks over to the man and puts out his hand to shake. "My name is Alet Rondel, nice to meet you."

top of the morning to you my name is Patrick kelly and i'm here to find my Bio-parents and restore the forest to this hell stricken city

*Cage looked down at the fools gathered in his city...talking of restoring the forest? What fools! Sick of watching the group of misfits Cage teleported to a closed location, just out of their line of sight*

"HEY! CLOWNS!"

*Cage teleported to another location*

"YOUR NOT WELCOME HERE!"

*Cage teleported again, higher up and waited*
